You are still walking, but hey, look, here's a bed. [ Helping manuever him gently backwards onto it. ] No more walking necessary.

[ He abruptly decides to fuck the 'gently backwards' part and half twists to just flop onto the bed about halfway through sitting down. Hopefully she doesn't land on him, but he doesn't actually wait until she's let go of him to do this. With his face in a pillow: ] Still moving. Things are still moving. Max make everything stop moving. Make the mole- Get some teeny tiny tweezers and grab the molecules and stop them all from moving.

[ She stumbles a little and winds up sitting on the bed. At least she didn't fall on top of him, but she's still rolling her eyes as she starts running her hand through his hair again, making shhhing noises. ] Just lie still, okay, they'll stop moving soon and then you can drink some water and go to sleep.

They'd better not stop moving. [ But that's a different kind of not moving. That's the entropy and physics and atomic kind of moving he wants to continue, because he doesn't want everything to just blip out of existence. The part where the room sort of feels like a slow-moving marble labyrinth game, that can stop anytime it feels like it.

But he does settle down again pretty quickly, with the hand and the shushing. ] Okay sounds good what a great plan.

They're going to stop moving. [ Because whatever it is that he means by that, she's mostly just interested in his head not spinning completely crazy. She waits until he's pretty thoroughly settled down to stop petting his hair, but keeps talking as she moves to get him a glass of water. ]

I'm really good at planning, yeah. Don't worry about it, I've got things under control.

But they can't. [ He's almost positive of this. ] Molecules can't. They have to. Just not this much.

[ He doesn't move at all when she gets up. Just stays sprawled on the bed on his side/stomach with his face in the pillow. ] You've always got things under control.

They're just going to do a pause thing, okay, it'll be fine.

[ Don't science while drunk, Tony, she thinks that you might accidentally bend various physics laws. She comes back with a glass of water, shakes her head fondly. ] I have some things under control.

[ He's quiet for a few seconds. ] Okay. [ That seems reasonable.

He spends his sober days trying to make physics his bitch it makes sense he'd try and do it while drunk too. ] Some all the things. [ But he's not moving for the water. Probably because his eyes have been closed in the pillow and he probably forgot about water being a thing that was going to happen anyway. ]

[ That's because it totally is reasonable. She's a reasonable person.

She's concerned about the levels to which said laws would get dangerously broken while drunk. At least when he's sober there's slightly less of a likelihood of an accidental black hole or something. ] You think a little too highly of my competence. Can you get up and drink some water for me?

[ Uh huh. ]

Do I have to? I really don't feel like moving right now. How about you bring it to me and then we'll see how it goes. This bed is great, you should try it out.

The water is right here in my hand. [ As she sits down on the bed next to him, running her free hand up and down his back. ] If you sit up you can drink some and go to sleep. The bed does look pretty comfy, yeah.

[ petting him probably isn't going to make him want to

oh okay he's rolling over and propping himself up a little bit wow it sort of worked ]

Okay. Right, the deal. That was the deal, right? We made a deal?

That was the deal, yes. It's a great deal.

[ She is a Tony-whisperer, she knows how to do this, holding the glass near his face. He can choose to hold it himself or she'll help him out there, whichever one works. ] And then we'll just curl up and sleep, it'll be good.

[ He doesn't really take the glass from her in as much as he just puts his hand over hers on the glass and then shifts both his body and the glass until he can drink from it. It's a slightly odd way to do it, but they should probably both be happy he isn't spilling it everywhere. Drinking it too fast, probably, but not spilling it. ]

[ That works too, and she holds it as steady as she can so that nothing gets spilled, waits until he's finished and then sets it on the side table and smiles at him. ] Okay. I'm all done making you do things.

[ He flops dramatically back onto the bed with a happy sigh then because yaaaaaay. He curls back around the pillow for a few seconds before opening one eye to look at her and pat the space in front of him. ]

[ She's just watching him with a fond smile on her face when he opens that one eye. ] Just a second. [ She doesn't really feel like wearing jeans to bed, so she's just going to stand up and strip out of those before sliding into the space he'd indicated, pulling his arm around her. ] Feeling okay?

[ He's totally wearing jeans to bed. It's not something he really thought about, and it's not like he won't have bigger problems in the morning anyway. But he's happy with her there, lets her pull his arm around her and then uses it to tug her close to his chest. ] I feel great. How do you feel?

[ He's too drunk to really care about that, and she's pretty aware of that. But yeah, she's just going to lean back against him and close her eyes, smiling at the warmth of him and the edges of the reactor she can feel pressed between her shoulderblades. It's comforting. ] I'm pretty good. You're warm.

It's 'cos I'm so hot. [ Yes he is pleased with himself for that. ] So are you. My favorite thing to hold onto.

[ Oh god, the pride in his voice is kind of hilarious, she's just laughing silently in his arms because that's so beautiful and so funny. ] That's really lucky, because I happen to really enjoy you holding onto me.

[ He doesn't even care that she's laughing - he just smiles and keeps holding her close. ] Good. We can both be happy then.

[ God, this is just. He's super drunk, and he's going to be really hungover in the morning and that's going to be fun, or not really much, but right now is pretty much perfect. She can practically feel his smile, can definitely feel his arm secure around her and the way that they fit together and the fact that they're both quite ridiculously happy right now. ] Sounds like a pretty good plan. I'm always in favor of plans with happiness. [ Lacing her fingers through his and bringing their joined hands up for a moment to kiss his hand, because she'll probably always be better at the physical signs than the verbal. ] You are totally hot.

[ He is totally so super drunk. He's going to hate all of this in the morning, for so many reasons.

But right now he is, indeed, happy. With her, and he's okay with that. ] You're just saying that now because I said it. That I'm hot.

[ He can hate everything in the morning, that's totally fine. She's still going to remember this, and the way his voice sounds right now and exactly how amusing the whole thing was.

And how nice. ] Yes, because I'm agreeing with your previous statement. I wanted to make sure you knew I agreed.
