The pair of them - were he thinking about it at all - make a pretty amusing escape team. He's almost positive at least one of them is limping based on the faint echo of their footsteps back to him, although he's not sure which one of them it is, precisely. He's extending himself as far as he can, more immediately, backing up her own sweeps within the surrounding area because there's only so much one can do to mask their breathing, their heartbeat, the shift scrape of their boots on the floor. He can't sweep nearly as far out as she can, but he should - hopefully - be able to at least help prevent them from being surprised around a corner.
